Missing your cats while on vacation? Treat yourself to some feline companionship at Savannah’s charming cat café.

Whenever my boyfriend and I travel to Savannah, we make time to stop by Pounce Cat Café and Wine Bar. It’s a fun activity to add to your itinerary, especially on a gloomy day or when you need a break from Savannah’s summer heat.

Pounce Cat Café partners with local animal shelters by housing adoptable cats at the café, giving them a better opportunity to find forever homes. Their mission is to increase adoption rates, give cats a break from shelter cages, and help reduce euthanasia rates in the South.

I am obsessed with visiting Pounce every time we’re in Savannah. I highly recommend making a reservation online since availability can be limited. I’ve only done the one-hour Cat Lounge visit, but they also offer special events like cat yoga on select weekends.

The one-hour visits are only $17 per person and include one complimentary drink for adults. They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. You can also pay a little extra to purchase treats and feed the kitties.

As an avid cat lover, there’s nothing better than spending part of my vacation petting cats and relaxing. Who doesn’t love some kitties, am I right? Pounce is also decorated incredibly cute, making it a great place to snap a few photos and capture memories from your trip. The staff has always been friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals in their care.

I’ve been limited to two cats at home thanks to my favorite guy ever—we can’t be outnumbered, or our orange cat would undoubtedly create chaos with his feline army! But if you happen to fall in love with one of the cats at Pounce, you can adopt them. Adoption pickups take place on Mondays.
