If you’ve been agonizing over finding the best breakfast spot in all of Savannah, look no further. Collins Quarter has two locations—Bull Street and Forsyth Park—each offering different menus for brunch and dinner.
My boyfriend and I have eaten at both locations for brunch and at the Bull Street location for dinner, and let me tell you—you do not want to miss out on eating here.
The Bull Street location is nestled on a street corner with both indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a cute side window where you can order drinks from the bar or coffee bar to go. More often than not, you’ll find us stopping by the to-go window for one of their Bloody Marys or espresso martinis.
Alright, from one foodie to another, let’s break it down by brunch and dinner.
Brunch at Bull Street
Collins Quarter at Bull Street has some of our favorite breakfast options ever. We love their breakfast so much that we’ll eat there multiple times during a trip, depending on how long we’re in town. We’ve made it our personal mission to try as much of the menu as possible.
The most memorable dish I’ve had is their famous Swine Time Beni.
What exactly is a Swine Time Beni, you ask? Well, buckle up and put on your stretchy pants. This decadent take on Eggs Benedict features pulled pork nestled on top of milk bread French toast, topped with two poached eggs, two slices of succulent bacon, hollandaise sauce, Fresno chiles, and microgreens.
To call this dish decadent is a massive understatement. If you order it, you will not be disappointed.
Moving on to my second favorite brunch option: the Salmon Hollandaise.
If you’re noticing a theme, you’d be correct—your girl loves hollandaise sauce. No judgment, please.
In my opinion, the Salmon Hollandaise is a slightly lighter option than the Swine Time Beni. The portion size is perfect for one person and features grilled Atlantic salmon, poached eggs, sautéed broccolini, potato and onion hash, hollandaise sauce, and a drizzle of chili oil. It feels luxurious without being overly heavy.
Between my boyfriend and me, we’ve also ordered the Short Rib, the OG Breakfast Sandwich, Shakshuka, and the Smothered Breakfast Burrito. All of them were fantastic and lean more toward the savory side of the menu.
Now, let’s talk about the Dubai Chocolate French Toast, because it is criminally good.
They start with their signature milk bread French toast and layer it with pistachio pastry cream, chocolate ganache, Nutella, roasted pistachios, and fresh strawberries. Then they top it all with a scoop of pistachio ice cream from the shop next door.
The best part? When the dish arrives, they serve it with a side of hot chocolate sauce for you to pour over the top yourself.
It. Is. Insanely. Decadent.
You’ve been warned.
Dinner at Bull Street
Dinner at Collins Quarter is a whole vibe. The dining room is cozy, warm, and inviting. We had the opportunity to eat there during Valentine’s Day weekend, and they were offering some incredible specials.
Their dinner menu has changed since our last visit, but I’d bet my last dollar that it’s still amazing. I’ll have to make another trip soon and report back.
Forsyth Park Location
The Forsyth Park location has some great options as well. We especially enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits and the Chicken and Waffles.
Both locations also serve my second-favorite Bloody Mary of all time. According to a few locals, the famous Savannah Bloody Mary mix—available for purchase around the city—is so good because of its secret ingredient: clam juice.
They also make an excellent espresso martini, and if you’re looking for a non-alcoholic option, the Vietnamese iced coffee is absolutely out of this world.
If you find yourself strolling through Savannah, I hope you’ll give Collins Quarter a try. I’ve included links to the restaurant and OpenTable reservation page below.
Happy eating!
Sincerely, Grace ✨
